Lutherhaven would not exist, if not for the servant-hearted individuals who pour themselves and the message of the Gospel into everything they do. Meet the team who keeps things running at camp.

Bethany Andrews • Director of Engagement

Bethany joined the Lutherhaven full-time team in September 2019. Bethany was born and raised near Cedar Rapids, IA. She graduated from Concordia University-Nebraska with an education degree and her Director of Christian Education (DCE) certification. First discovering camp ministry as a camper at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca in 1996, Bethany knew then she wanted to be a camp counselor one day. She joined the Lutherhaven Summer Staff in 2011. After serving in congregational ministry for 3 years, Bethany is excited to be back at Camp Lutherhaven as Director of Engagement. Her favorite spot on Camp is sitting on the dock at sunset and watching God paint the skies. Bethany enjoys climbing mountains, ballet, anything crafty, and time spent with friends & family.

Caleb Krueger • Site Director

Caleb "Turbo" Krueger joined the staff team in August 2022. Caleb was previously on summer staff as a counselor and summer maintenance in summers 2016 &2017, respectively. Caleb will help maintain and improve Lutherhaven’s 72 acres of facilities, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.

Stefanie Brown • Office Administrator

Stefanie serves as our Camp Administrator, joining our team in 2021. Prior to joining our team, Stefanie was a stay-at-home mom for over 11 years, and then worked as a social worker for 11 years. Stefanie is no stranger to Camp Lutherhaven as she was a camper for several years as well as she was on staff for 4 summers during her college years. Stefanie met her husband, Treven, at camp while on staff. They have 3 amazing daughters. Stefanie enjoys getting together with friends and family and a good cup of coffee!

Jane Bunn • Bookkeeper

Keith Peters • Director of Summer & Youth Ministry

Keith served in various Christian camp ministries and in a parish ministry, prior to joining Lutherhaven’s team as the Director of Summer and Youth Ministry. His biggest passions are being husband to his amazing and lovely wife Jana and father to his three outstanding daughters. Over his ministry career the expression of Scripture in a knowledgeable and winsome way to both child, youth and adult has been paramount. The love of God’s Word led Keith to earn a Masters of Arts in Theology from Concordia Chicago while serving at Fellowship of Faith (LCMS) in McHenry, IL. A native from Oklahoma, God has brought his family on a journey from Illinois and Wisconsin to the adventure of camp ministry at Lutherhaven, Indiana! His other interests include logging miles either by running or cycling and drinking good coffee.

Ministry Impact

Camp Lutherhaven is thankful to have had Delanie "Cae" Lorenz and Shaina "Groove" Lako as our Ministry Impact workers for the 2022-2023 season and Nate "Spruce" Robinson for serving as Onsite Seasonal Staff during Fall 2022.

Part-Time Staff

Part-time staff are crucial to Lutherhaven's daily operation and ongoing mission. Currently Camp has teamed up with Carrie Ressler in housecleaning. We're looking for a head cook and some additional housecleaning help. Let us know if you are interested or have questions.
