Grades: 4th-8th

This session will delight the all-around athlete in you! Fill your week playing all kinds of sports. Ranging from well-known games like basketball and ultimate Frisbee, to the more obscure Kabaddi, and of course, some epic GaGa Ball (a Lutherhaven favorite).

Soccer Camp

Grades: 4rd-8th

Campers spend 2-3 hours each day working on soccer skills and small/large group games. The rest of the day is spent participating in camp activities such as swimming, all-camp games, and campfire devotions.

Developmentally Disabled Day Camp for Adults

This special day camp session is for adult developmentally disabled individuals looking for a retreat from everyday routine, a place of love and acceptance, and a place where participants explore and learn about the world around them. Participants engage in various camp activities including games, crafts, devotions, music, and tons of fun. Round out your summer with an adventure at Camp Lutherhaven where you’ll have a blast alongside new friends out in the great outdoors! This three-day camp for the new or young camper is filled with lots of classic camp activities. Each fun-filled day is spent with your cabin mates as you swim, play games, have campfire devotions, and spend time in the great outdoors. Quiet Corner 2023

Join other women for an afternoon Quiet Corner experience on Friday, January 20, 2023 to spend time in God’s Word, prayer, and in the midst of God’s Creation!

Camp will provide a cozy indoor setting complete with comfortable seating and a welcoming fire. And of course, the trails, lake and grounds will be available for you to explore.

Dinner will be served at 6pm prior to the beginning of the Women’s Retreat at 8pm.

Lutherhaven strives to keep all of our guests and staff safe and is adhering to Indiana state and local guidelines.

Women’s Retreat 2023: Goodness of God

Join other women for a weekend of connection, conversation, and celebration centered around God’s Goodness as we begin the new year together. Focused on Psalm 107:8-9, Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. and join with others to discover how God’s Goodness encapsulates, encourages, and endures! This weekend getaway has become a treasured event for over 27 years and is designed to start your new year off in community with other women who share similar joys and challenges as followers of Jesus.

2023 Speaker: Blythe Barreto

This year’s keynote speaker is Blythe Barreto, who grew up in the Ft. Wayne area and was a camper and on summer staff at Lutherhaven. Currently, she serves as an adjunct professor of theology & ministry for Concordia University, St. Paul and teaches high school theology at Orange Lutheran Online. Previously, Blythe has served as Upper Level Theology Teacher and Academic Dean at Lutheran High North in Houston, TX after 4 years teaching and acting as “International Communications Director” for the Center for Christian Education in Martin, Slovakia. She has traveled to almost 40 countries on 5 continents backpacking with her husband, Anthony. They currently reside in West Palm Beach, Florida with their 2 children, Zoya Marie and Izaias Martin.

Event Details

The retreat begins on Friday night with registration beginning at 7:00 PM. It will conclude after Sunday afternoon about 1pm.

Committed to making this retreat a refreshing getaway for all women, Camp Lutherhaven offers overnight and ‘Saturday only’ retreat options, as well as a personal retreat option during the day on Friday beginning at 1pm. Choose the option that works best for you.

Back again this year, a women’s retreat long-sleeve shirt will be available when you register for $20. A limited number of shirts will also be available in the Camp Store during the retreat.
