Andrew Schroeder

Andrew “Irwin” Schroeder serves as the Director of Summer and Youth Ministry at Camp Lutherhaven. Before joining the Lutherhaven team, he worked as a Lutheran music teacher and church musician. A longtime advocate for outdoor ministry, Andrew previously served at Camp Lutherhaven as a counselor and is excited to continue sharing Christ through camp ministry.

He earned his degree in Music Education and a Lutheran Teacher Diploma from Concordia University Nebraska in 2024. That same summer, Andrew married his high school sweetheart, Mary—also a Lutherhaven summer staff alum.

Originally from Indiana, Andrew is grateful to follow God’s call back to the Midwest after spending time serving in Phoenix, Arizona. He’s passionate about music and loves praising God through the gifts he’s been given. In his free time, you’ll often find him outdoors—running, fishing, or making music.
