You’re invited to Camp Lutherhaven’s Chicken Dinner happening on Sunday, August 9th, 2020!
Seventy one years and counting! That’s how long the ministry of Camp Lutherhaven has been touching lives for Jesus. We will be celebrating this along with the ending of our shortened summer of 2020. Save the date because we would love to have you join us and lend your voice as we give thanks for God’s continued blessing to the many campers, families, staff, churches, schools, and other organizations that have called Lutherhaven home.
Our guest speaker will be Rev. James Keller. Rev. Keller has been working among the Burmese in Fort Wayne for over 20 years both as pastor at New Life Lutheran Church and LAMB (Lutheran Agency For Missions to Burmese). He speaks a little Burmese, reads a little Burmese, writes a little Burmese, sings a little Burmese, but eats a lot of Burmese! He is celebrating 33 years of marriage to his high school sweetheart Annette. They have nine children and welcomed their first grandchild last October. Pastor Jim is an avid Spider-man fan (all nine children are named after Spider-man characters). Keller has been instrumental in helping Lutherhaven craft several of it’s summer Servant Events in ministry to the Burmese population in Fort Wayne.
Prices, paid at the door are:
Adults (Ages 13+) $10/person
Children ages 6-12: $6/person
Children 5 & under: free
