We’re thrilled that you are considering Camp Lutherhaven for your family!
We know these are strange times, but we believe Camp is more important now than ever with the connection, encouragement, and faith-based, personal growth that it offers. We have created a path moving forward with our summer programs and we’re committed to a safe environment while creating a great experience for each camper. Now, all we need is YOU!
Let’s Get Started!
It is our privilege to impact over 2000 people each summer and we hope to have the opportunity for your child to be among us this year. A Christian camp experience can be instrumental in helping children develop independence, self-worth, leadership, responsibility, friendships, and most importantly, nurture a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Camp Lutherhaven, we achieve this by…
- Establishing a safe environment to have fun, grow, share, and experience the adventures of summer camp.
- Creating an authentic, close, Christian community.
- Assembling a well-trained, Christian staff committed to excellence.
- Inviting children to experience the wonder of God’s love and creation.
Things continue to change on the Covid-19 landscape – hopefully trending toward the better. As we make plans for the upcoming summer, know that we are determined to not only create a safe environment, but also to make camp still feel like camp. We’ll be working hard to stay transparent and keep you informed of any changes along the way. To find out the latest on how things look, visit our Summer 2021 Covid-19 Action Plan.

2021 Summer Theme
He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.” Luke 10:37
When asked “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus responds with the parable of the Good Samaritan. In this story, we are challenged to live out mercy to anyone along our path. This is not an easy command to fulfill. Thankfully we have a God who demonstrated what being a neighbor is all about when he showed us mercy and paid for our healing with his own life, even though we have been un-neighborly. Join us this summer as we learn how to love our neighbor and by doing so, change the world.
Counselors & Staff
Our cabin counselors and staff are carefully selected, Christian, young adults of college-age. They bring excitement for life and a love for kids. Each takes part in an in-depth application, interview, and background check process, and then participate in intense, eight-day training and orientation. They are under the guidance of our camp’s Director of Summer & Youth Ministry and Executive Director who bring a combined experience of 44 years working with children in a Camp setting.
