Summer 2020!

COVID-19 Summer Action Plan

We’re thrilled that you are considering Camp Lutherhaven for your family!

We are excited about the upcoming 2020 Summer Camp Season. In response to rapidly our changing environment, we are working on refining Plan A and preparing Plan B, C, D, E, F…We think you get it.
In the event that we need to cancel the Camp program that you register for, any payments that you have made, including your deposit, will have the option of being donated, credited toward 2021 programs, or refunded to you. Check here to see cancelled sessions.

It is our privilege to impact over 2000 people each summer and we hope we have the opportunity to have your child among us this year. A Christian camp experience can be instrumental at helping children develop independence, self-worth, leadership, responsibility, friendships, and most importantly, nurture a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ.

At Camp Lutherhaven, we achieve this by…

  • Establishing a safe environment to have fun, grow, share, and experience the adventures of summer camp.
  • Creating an authentic, close, Christian community.
  • Assembling a well-trained, Christian staff committed to excellence.
  • Inviting children to experience the wonder of God’s love and creation.

Join us this year for an incredible outdoor adventure!

2020 Summer Theme

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life…” John 14:6

Life is a journey that comes with all sorts of ups and downs, various trails, distractions, conflicting messages, etc. In all reality, we lose our way. But God reassures us that not only does he know the way, He IS the way, and the truth, and the life. We’re in this together and we can’t wait for you to join us on an expedition of faith this summer as we explore the theme of TRUE NORTH.

Counselors & Staff

Our cabin counselors and staff are carefully selected, Christian, young adults of college age. They bring an excitement for life and a love for kids. Each take part in an in-depth application, interview, and background check process, and then participate in an intense, eight-day training and orientation. They are under the guidance of our camp’s Director of Summer & Youth Ministry and Executive Director who bring a combined experience of 40 years working with children in a Camp setting.
