Our 2026 Speaker
Pastor Gabe Kasper will be the speaker for the 2026 Summer Men’s Retreat.
Gabe grew up in Macomb, MI. After spending five years starting new churches in Austin, TX, he is glad to be back in Michigan as the Lead Pastor of ULC. He serves the mission of ULC through preaching, leadership development, and pastoral care.
Gabe studied at Concordia University Wisconsin before going on to get his MDiv at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and an MPhil from Eastern Michigan University. In his spare time, Gabe enjoys playing soccer, reading books, listening to punk rock, and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. He and his wonderful wife Melissa have three great kids.

Our 2026 Worship Team
Chabros Music is a worship duo formed by brothers Michael and John Chabo, Syrian-born musicians now living in the United States. Their journey through war, immigration, and God’s sustaining grace has shaped a ministry devoted to leading people to Jesus through authentic worship and meaningful storytelling.
Blending contemporary worship with Middle Eastern warmth and pastoral sensitivity, Chabros Music has led worship at churches, conferences, and camps across the U.S. Their sound is known for heartfelt vocals, musical excellence, and a genuine desire for people to encounter God’s presence.
Alongside live worship, they produce worship sessions, devotionals, and creative content that reach a growing global audience. Their mission is simple: to help people know Jesus, love Jesus, and share the hope they found in Him.

Cost will range from: $50-$99 per person depending on lodging choices thanks to a grant from The Lutheran Foundation.
