KEITH PETERS

Keith “cheezy” Peters joined the Lutherhaven team as Director of Summer and Youth Ministry in 2021 and stepped into the role of Executive Director in 2025. Prior to that, he served in a variety of Christian camp and parish ministries, bringing with him a deep passion for sharing the Gospel across generations.

At the heart of Keith’s ministry is a commitment to communicating Scripture in a knowledgeable, approachable, and engaging way—whether with children, youth, or adults. His love for God’s Word led him to earn a Master of Arts in Theology from Concordia University Chicago while serving at Fellowship of Faith (LCMS) in McHenry, Illinois.

Originally from Oklahoma, Keith and his family have followed God’s call from Illinois to Wisconsin, and now to the adventure of camp ministry in Indiana. His greatest joy is being husband to his amazing wife, Jana, and father to their three outstanding daughters. In his free time, you’ll often find Keith running or cycling—and always enjoying a good cup of coffee.
